Artifex Statement
Self reflexion(sic): Homo sapiens, artifex, or ludens? Pan loquans, loquax, imitans, or poetica?
I am not self-identified as an artist but do believe that as a scientist, mathematician, engineer and student of metaphor, I have some insight into the tropes and idioms of the domain. At best I consider myself at this point an Art Maker or perhaps an Artifex, adding the dimension of Trickster to the role.
The art-pieces or Artifacts presented here is nothing more than a collage of objects, each one having a former life of it's own, now being repurposed or reinterpreted through juxtaposition, presentation and an accompanying storied narrative.
